In celebration of its 80th Anniversary, Brookgreen is pleased to offer the following 2011 public programs that are free with garden admission.

February 22 –Trish Smith, studio director of sculptor Sandy Scott, will give an informal talk, Thoughts on Sculpture and Brookgreen Gardens, at 2 p.m., Campbell Center Studio

March 10 – Robin Salmon - Curator’s Chat, The Extraordinary Huntingtons, at 11a.m., Lowcountry Center Auditorium

April 2 - Lecture, Greg Wyatt, The Sculpture of Greg Wyatt, at 1 p.m., Lowcountry Center Auditorium

April 16 – Lecture, Simon Kogan, Designing the 2011 Brookgreen Medal,

at 5 p.m., Lowcountry Center Auditorium

July 13 – 80th Anniversary Lecture, Robin Salmon, Brookgreen Gardens: Past and Present, at 11:00, Lowcountry Center Auditorium

July 15-16 – Medallic Art Event with the American Medallic Sculpture Association and the National Sculpture Society (concurrent lectures, demonstrations, and tours), TBD

August 18 and 19 – Open Studio, 10:00-1:00 each day, Campbell Center Studio
